Just A Burden

"You two are fighting because of me. I'm just a burden. Maybe I should go home to my parents..."
"Y-you don't have to do that! We'll work things out. I promise."

Vanesse finally calls Helen out on being overprotective and smothering of Michelle when she turns down going out to see some live music without allowing Michelle to answer. Helen retorts that she can speak for Michelle and accuses Vanesse of pushing Michelle too hard and trying to come between them. The two start a heated argument which makes Michelle upset. Michelle can't stand the thought of her two best friends fighting because of her and suggests she move back in with her parents. Helen freaks out because to her this sounds like "I'm breaking up with you" and assures Michelle that she'll work things out with Vanesse.
